Cleaning glass furniture requires the same approach one would adopt when cleaning wood furniture but greater care has to be taken to prevent stains and finger smudges. Failure to clean this table consistently will rob it of its shine that is why buyers are advised to clean it at least once every two weeks.
To get the best out of your coffee table you will need the right cleaning materials and they are as follows.
Below, we review the cleaning process for best results.
The first phase will require proper dusting. If you have not cleaned the table in a while it will require more effort to remove excess dust particularly in tight spots. Pay attention to the top and the legs especially in the curvy points.
For the washing phase, mix your soap or detergent with water inside a bowl and soak a piece of cloth in it. Squeeze the cloth slightly then use as a sponge to clean the exterior. You can also substitute the cloth for a sponge if you have one. Make sure you scrub every part to remove dust or stains. Pay attention to curve and tight spots.
The second to last phase is the cleaning phase. For proper execution, rinse a piece of cloth in water or you can use the same cloth you used for washing. Squeeze to remove excess water then clean the table carefully. We recommend a microfiber cloth because it doesn’t leave behind cotton in the sticky surface. The last phase is the drying phase. Place table in an airy room or return it back to its previous position to dry.
